After seeing an advert from beITrecruitment on a job search site, I decided to take a different route from my normal "sending a CV and hope for a response" and give it a more personal touch and approach them by phone... and I'm
glad I did.

My previous experience with employment agencies have been very much "another name on the list". I did not find this to be the case with beITrecruitment.

My initial conversation with one of the recruitment consultants (Jane) was as pleasant as it could be. Throughout the chat I never once felt like "another name on the conveyor belt of hopefuls" as we not only chatted about my previous work experience, we also had a good chinwag and laugh about
anything that came up.

After that I kept in regular contact with Anna Nicholson who (again) I found to be a pleasure to work with. Anna was both terrific to work with on a professional level, and an excellent person to chat to on a more 'non-business' level too.

Throughout the period I was in regular contact with beITrecruitment I was kept well informed and up to date of any progress made in my job application (which is now my new place of employment!).

Manchester IT was created to meet the needs of SME’s in the M60 area, who had IT issues but did not require a full time IT professional. Our team is a focused group of individuals chosen for their complementary skills and with the ability to understand the impact of their own actions to client and their business.

Manchester IT Services Ltd has in the past struggled with recruitment and the associated issues. We saw the cost of advertising without any guarantee of how many candidates would be looking in last nights paper a long shot, and the trawl through interviews, appointment letters etc… the whole process was a long and costly nightmare.

Another place we tried was the job centre, so we placed an advert on their web site and we only had two applicants; and for our staffing needs the level of candidate was not forthcoming.

In short our solution to this was to use a local friendly recruitment agency, which understood our needs, we could trust and could supply a select number of quality candidates. For this task we found beITrecruitment – part of beResources Limited fitted the bill perfectly.

We now exclusively use ‘beResources’, which has surpassed our expectations and more over we can honestly say that we have never been short listed any candidates that would not be of interest to Manchester IT. We have always hired from the 3 or 4 CV’s short listed by beResources.

The recruiting process now is days rather than months, which for a small business means that we can hit the floor running and saves us a lot of time and money in the long run.

Thanks to beResources, Manchester IT is achieving it’s growth forecasts and is able to offer it’s services to many more local businesses.
